A very very rare survivor with just 50,000 miles covered from new. This car is in impeccable condition & is an example of Rootes Group at its finest.
The paintwork is pearl grey with a pipin red side stripe & red convertible top. To the interior is red trim piped in grey & a lovely full walnut dash board. On the road it drives beautifuly as one would expect from such low mileage & benefits from overdrive on third & 4th gears which is useful in third for overtaking & makes the car very long legged in top gear.
Being a series 3a it has the upgraded rootes engine with bigger main bearings & assorted other up grades. The car is very versatile in that it may be used fully closed, half open in the sedanca position or fully convertible with the hood neatly tucked under a hood cover. There is also a full sized split tonneau cover also in red that snas into place.
This is a very very solid rot free example & has been in collections for many years. Viewings are in Dorset by appointment. The car comes with old & new V5c documents and also assorted recent paper work & workshop manuals.
