1935 Brough Superior 1100cc J.A.P. V twin
Please call Richard Biddulph 0044 7967 260673 for full details:
Despatched new to one A H Rodgers, this 11-50 is very much the 'De Luxe' model in so far as it has the spring frame, Castle forks, and twin carburettors, all of which were 'extras'. 'ATV 833' has been in the previous late owner's family's possession for the last 52 years. This is the largest engine capacity produced by Brough at their Hayden Road facility & falls somewhere between the SS100 & SS80 models utilizing the 60 degree 1100cc J.A. Prestwich (J.A.P) engine.
The motorcycle has recently been to marque speciailist Howard Wilcox where some £20k was spent on getting the machine put into perfect mechanical condition with everything that needed to be done having been done. Since then just a handful of miles have been covered. The motorcycle is thus ready for immediate extended use or touring. The motorcycle is sold with a copy of its Works Record Card, an old-style continuation logbook, assorted correspondence, and old/current V5C documents.
There is a tendency to over restore these wonderful machines so it is a pleasure to find one in original untouched condition whilst also being in perfect mechanical condition with assorted new engine internals etc.
We will be conducting a Photo shoot on the Motorcycle as soon as weather improves.
