As rare as they come. Just 25 of these last of the line limited edition Turbocharged Corniche S cars were ever built, all of which were for the USA market. This car was purchased by the current owner in 2012 & has been maintained without regards to cost having now covered some 91,000 dry summer miles from new.
This particular example as proclaimed by marquetry on the dash board is number 9 of 25 & is the only one made in Peacock blue with the paint being in stunning condition having been always garaged from new. To the interior is Parchment leather piped in blue again in very good condition along with beautiful burr walnut edged with satin wood banding.
The Corniche S had the same turbo engine and suspension as the Rolis-Royce Flying Spur saloon that was launched in 1995. All 25 cars were sold in the US and were outwardly identifiable by the red badge on the radiator grille, numbered plaque in the cubby box, "Corniche S" plate on the boot lid, and red Mulliner Park Ward plate on door sills.
The car has recently had a circa £6,000 service done by Rohdins Rolls Royce experts in Sweden to make it ready for sale. It is possibly the only one in European hands. Make no mistake this is a very very rare car & the final pinnacle of a long production run. Under the bonnet the engine bay is immaculate wiith no corrosion or furring of the suspension turret bolts as is so often found on more negelcted examples.
In stock with us now it is ready for immediate use. You would be forgiven for thinking the car had covered 1/3 of the indicated mileage; such is the fine condition of the car.
