1965 Land Rover Series 2a SWB 88"
Chassis Number: 27104639B
Registration number: CXG34C
AS NEW. This series 2a Landrover has had a full & I do mean full nut & bolt restoration by Hobson Industries of Lincolnshire; a firm well known for Land Rover restoration whoms' services are used by Land Rover themselves. Every single nut bolt & bearing has been changed or rebuilt to make this example better then when it left the factory. It has since then covered a scant dry 648 miles, the odometer having been reset when restoration was completed.
The car is finished in its original colur of light pastel green with the paint needless to say being perfect. Inside are new black vinyl seats with modern seatbelts installed with a nod to safety. The rear area is lined with chequer plate style black rubber mats extending also to the bench seating. A new high quality beige canvas soft top completes the ensemble. Rubber floor mats are also installed up front in the drivers & passenger footwells.
The car sits on 4 pressed steel wheels shod with brand new tyres. A 5th spare wheel is installed upon the bonnet. The engine is brand new & being run in. The car is an overdrive model making for relaxed main road motoring.
If you seek museum quality perfection then here it is. I have not seen better.
