Purchased in concours fully restored condition at Goodings Pebble Beach Auction in 2000. This car has since been a private Portugese collection where it has been driven 20kms each month & kept in tip top order by the collections mechanic.
The paint is a dark green/grey colour (red leather inside) similar to the one in the Guggenheim Museum in New York, which is the colour the racing director of Mercedes used to drive. The original colour was cream. The car has its original luggage stored in the correct spot behind the front seats.
It is in simply lovely condition & ready for immediate use & will be sold freshly serviced by a gullwing specialist.
