Two Bentley Derby's

At Vintage and Prestige Cars we are regularly finding wonderful examples of classic Bentley cars arriving at our showrooms. Today, is no example. We thought it would be nice to give you a brief look around these two classic cars…

The early series 1934 Derby Bentley Freestone & Webb Drop Head clothed with a very attractive and delicate two door drop head coupe design as found today.  A chrome strip running down the sides of the Bentley and curving round the boot line accentuates the body shape.

The Derby Bentley Freestone & Webb Drop Head is finished in a dark shade of blue close to midnight with the paint having been done some years ago but is in very presentable order. To the interior is similarly lightly aged cream leather with matching beige carpets. Woodwork is all good with the door capping’s having a pin line metal inlay round them.

1934 Park Ward Derby Bentley 3 1/2 liter drop head coupe for sale. A beautiful and highly desirable drop head coupe by Park Ward. The Park Ward Derby Bentley has under long term English ownership and used for occasional tours and rallies for many years.

Six years ago the Park Ward Derby Bentley was purchased by a Spanish collector who scarcely used the Bentley during his tenure. We collected the Park Ward Derby Bentley in Madrid and transported it back to the UK. Prior to purchasing it, we conducted a long test drive in the heat of the Spanish Plains. The Bentley never once got hot and drove beautifully with a smooth silent powerful engine.
