Vintage and Prestige Fine Motor Cars are proud to be offering this 1928 Rolls Royce 20hp Tourer for sale. A delightful little Rolls Royce tourer having been owned by the previous person for several decades. During that time much money has been spent to keep the 1928 Rolls Royce 20hp Tourer in tip top order as evidenced by copious bills in the service folder from the usual suspects.

A new aluminum head has also been fitted along with a brake over-haul and an engine rebuild. Originally bodied by H.J. Mulliner. During the 1930’s the Rolls Royce 20hp Tourer  went through the hands of Southern coachbuilders who fitted the vehicle with more up to date vertical slats and also modified the body.

The Rolls Royce engine runs sweetly and silently as may be expected from the bills. The gear box is a delight with the whole car being taught and pleasant to drive. The 1928 Rolls Royce 20hp Tourer is in lovely condition and is used regularly for touring, having sojourned as far afield as southern Spain under previous ownership.

Painted in a jaunty yellow and black the 1928 Rolls Royce 20hp Tourer attracts attention of the right kind wherever it appears and brings smiles to faces of the bystanders. The roof is of black material and easily erected. A full set of side screens also comes with the Rolls Royce for inclement motoring conditions.

A large Klaxon lurks under the bonnet. An Auster style screen folds out in the rear to offer a modicum of protection to rear occupants and gives the 1928 Rolls Royce 20hp Tourer a very period look. A single spare is side-mounted to the passenger’s side. To the rear are a motoring trunk and also a wicker picnic basket, in this instance waiting to be filled with the necessary requisites by the new owner.

Front and rear seats are black leather augmented by black carpets covered in Rolls Royce floor mats. All in all, a delightful Rolls Royce in impeccable running condition and needing nothing.
